About us.
We’re an Arizona team doing tree care the right way; science-based, honest, and precise. Led by an ISA Certified Arborist.
Rooted in Arboriculture. Built on Respect.
Climb It High Tree Experts is a locally operated arboriculture company serving communities throughout the Verde Valley, across Arizona, and beyond.
We approach every property with the belief that good tree care starts with understanding structure, biology, risk, and long term impact. Our work is not about quick cuts or temporary fixes. It is about helping homeowners make informed and thoughtful decisions about the trees they live with every day.
We value clear communication, safety, and long term stewardship because tree care should support both the landscape and the people who call it home.
Meet Ty
Ty Brand is the founder and owner of Climb It High Tree Experts and an ISA Certified Arborist® (WE-326000A). He still climbs every day, and he built this company on a simple conviction: trees deserve care grounded in biology, not habit.
Ty doesn’t run the company from behind a desk. He’s in the canopy, on the ropes, reading structure and making the same careful decisions he asks of his crew. Every recommendation starts with understanding the tree as a living system. Species, structure, soil, water, risk, and long term impact all come before any cuts are planned.
That approach is slower, and it’s deliberate. Quick cuts and convenient answers are easy to sell. Ty would rather tell a homeowner the honest truth, even when the honest truth is “this tree doesn’t need us” or “removal is the safest option.” Preservation when it’s possible, honesty always.
It’s why his clients trust him with the trees they live with every day. Arboriculture done correctly, because the tree needs it.
Our Approach
Tree care is often simplified to cutting and cleanup. Arboriculture goes deeper than that. As trained professionals, we evaluate each tree as a living system. We consider species characteristics, structural integrity, soil conditions, wind exposure, and long-term risk. We do this before making any recommendations.
Pruning, removals, and mitigation work are sometimes necessary. We perform that work every day. The difference lies in why and how those decisions are made. Our recommendations are guided by tree biology and industry standards. They focus on the long-term health of your property rather than convenience or habit.
We believe homeowners deserve clarity. That means explaining what we see. It includes outlining realistic options. We also carry out the work with precision and respect for both the landscape and the people who live there.
Arboriculture is not just about removing problems. It is about managing living systems responsibly.
Arboriculture is the management of living systems
Why Thoughtful Tree Care Matters
Arboriculture is the practice of managing trees as living biological systems within the built environment. Every tree exists in relationship to soil conditions, climate stress, structural mechanics, and the people who live around it. Responsible care requires understanding how those systems interact over time.
Tree biology matters. Species characteristics, energy storage, compartmentalization of decay, root stability, and structural load all influence how a tree responds to pruning, environmental stress, or injury. Decisions about preservation, mitigation, or removal must be grounded in that biology rather than habit or convenience.
Stewardship matters. Trees shape shade patterns, soil health, wind exposure, and long term property value. The work performed today affects safety and performance for years to come. Thoughtful arboriculture considers not only what needs attention now, but how those decisions will influence the future condition of the landscape.
Community matters. Trees exist within neighborhoods, along streets, and beside homes where families live and gather. Our responsibility is to balance biological integrity with public safety, helping homeowners understand their options and make informed decisions with clarity and confidence.
Arboriculture is not simply about cutting or removing. It is about evaluating living systems, managing risk responsibly, and protecting both the landscape and the people who depend on it.
